Absolutely created by alien intelligence. There was no metal capable of carving this from rock.

Officially, This is the hard work of 5-6 generations of a very talented group of architects , artists and labours. But I believe there was some sort of super natural power built this or may be helped those artists and architects.

I always had this doubt how come a magnificent temple like kailasa was built in non-Dravidian state. today I have checked in wiki and this temple is built under dravidian ruler Krishan 1 from Rashtrakuta dynasty.

The problem with white people is that they think of Indians as primitive people. This guy is saying geopolymer, geopolymer hundreds of times. If you don’t understand something then don’t open your mouth man. The whole temple was plastered in lime and coloured as can be seen in some places.

Stew - thank you... very good humor - imparting serious information to us all... well done..!! The chap who guided you was a REAL GENTLEMAN and full of info coupled with context... OMG insight too - FOR SURE. I will now pay close attention to your outflow... you are a good natured chap who seems to be on an independent journey - not one seeking to push some sort of agenda... from what I can see. HOW REFRESHING..!! thank you.

First of all this india not egypt. In india we respect what our ancestors did so we are not going to dig and send cameras underground like egypt they have no respect for dead . All the dead sitting in museums. In india we respect temples . You will not see intricate carvings like this anywhere which such perfection in the world that sets india apart from other ancient civilizations.

Regarding that 80 feet tall pillar which you claim is one piece of stone ? I thought that I could see that the pillar was made up of sections from your camera pictures ? Obviously I have an untrained eye but that's the way it appeared to me looking closely at the still photo on my computer tablet ..but hey ,I love the education and the history of the place ..thank you my friend .

Maybe they used Great Mirrors to guide the Sunlight and the Last was a Great Solar Lense that melted the Stone in whatever Direction they wanted and scooped it out that way. P.S Not all Muslims destroyed Temples, not all would Destroy Temples. Peace.

Absolutely outstanding! In XVII century Mughal emperor ordered the destruction of many temples in Ellora. Anyway the Kailasa damages has been not so relevant (the bridge, some carved elephant, different sculptures and carvings). Just wondering at 26:42 and at 28:25 how this can be the original carved in stone pillar if it have some reinforced grid?

The rock is not granite. It is Basalt and is dark in color. It is carved from top down - certainly not used humanly known technology. Have a look at this website where Praveen Mohan, who is well known in India to investigate the intricate details of temple sculptures, explains his view point from interesting "angles". ua-cam.com/video/B2Jl4HNDixc/v-deo.html

Not granite but basalt. Not that it makes that much difference on the hardness scale basalt being around 6 and granite 7. The Kailash temple in Ellora and Ajanta rock-cut caves are among the greatest architectural feats which owe their grandeur to amenability and consistency of basalt of the Deccan Volcanic region from which it is hewn.

In India, we have lost the entire temple building principles, architecture, and engineering because of the invasions and colonialism. We no more have people carrying this tradition of temple building from generation. In some parts of the country the community who used to build temples in ancients still exist with surname but they lost all their ancestral knowledge.
